EXPLANATION
During the final stages of the Horus Heresy, the traitor forces led by Horus attacked Terra. Sanguinius, the Primarch of the Blood Angels, fought in the defense of the Imperial Palace. When the Emperor teleported to Horus’s flagship to end the rebellion, Sanguinius arrived first. He confronted Horus alone aboard the Vengeful Spirit.
