EXPLANATION
During the Horus Heresy, loyalist forces launched an attack against Horus’s armies on Istvaan V. Initial forces engaged the enemy and expected reinforcements from additional Space Marine legions. However, many of those reinforcements had secretly joined Horus’s rebellion. When they arrived, they attacked the loyalists from behind, trapping them between two forces.
